About Us

Keri Mitsufuji
In today’s globally-connected society, more and more messages are exchanged between Japan and overseas on a daily, round-the-clock basis. There is no doubt that “accurate and clearly-addressed translation” is a key factor in successful business transactions and academic exchanges. I was once a professional conference interpreter and am currently lecturing on interpreting, translation and speech communication at a major university. For several years, I was trying to find some miraculous way to produce high-quality, low-cost translation. While I didn’t find any miracles, I did find some enthusiastic professional friends in the translation and editing business who helped me to set up TAS (Translation Arts Society) in 2004. Our slogan is” Real pros do the work.” Let me assure you that TAS will get your message across better and with more persuasion. So come to TAS.
